Welcome to SEE Counselling and Coaching. My name is Kam and I offer a compassionate, ethical and personalised counselling and life coaching service in Hounslow, Richmond, Ealing, and online.

Placing Cultural Sensitivity at the Heart of My Work

My mission is to provide counselling and life coaching services to those wanting to bring a transformational change in their current circumstances. I aim to give you the space to reclaim your power and make decisions that lead to positive outcomes.

As a British South Asian woman, I understand the unique challenges faced by minorities when it comes to balancing cultural expectations and feeling confident in our identities. I also understand the struggles experienced by minorities when it comes to direct or indirect discrimination, gender expectations, family issues, difficulties in relationships, and other matters.

I have an insight and first-hand experience of what these difficulties are and the impact they have on our self-esteem. I use an intersectional framework that is anti-oppressive, which helps you to speak openly without fear and feel connected with your true self. I believe therapy should be accessible to all and, can deliver sessions in Punjabi if requested.

About Me

My name is Kam, and I am a qualified integrative therapist. I started my journey into counselling with a view to better understanding others. At the time I worked with individuals with complex needs and soon realised that many were failed by the system, because of a lack of understanding and empathy about their circumstances and beliefs. Many of these individuals masked their true pain and hurt with addictions, anti-social behaviour and toxic patterns of relating. Their traumatic pasts plagued their ability to seek positive changes or build a secure sense of self-worth. The step into counselling enriched my ability to provide a safe space for these individuals to feel seen, heard and valued. I witnessed positive growth in many of these clients and rejoiced in their transformations no matter how big or small.

This experience took me on my own journey of self-development. Along with gaining all the relevant qualifications, I learned so much about myself, with the support of personal counselling and life coaching. I unlearnt many limited beliefs and uncovered past traumas that had prevented me from seeing my true worth. I gave voice to my needs and begun to value my relationship with myself, and others around me. I came out of the process so much stronger, and my goal is to help others through their own journey to self-actualisation.

My counselling focuses on patterns of relating – forming a therapeutic relationship with you that is authentic, ethical, safe, non-judgemental, and based on trust.

Establishing a strong bond is not just so you feel safe; the way we communicate together and how you relate to me acts as a key route towards understanding your wider interpersonal struggles and the impact they have on your mental health.

Looking at these attachment dynamics allows us look at your inner child, your real needs, and brings you closer to being the person you really are.

Both counselling and life coaching services can be delivered as face-to-face, Zoom, telephone, video-calls and online sessions.

Life Coaching

The life coaching service is delivered in various programmes:

  • 1-1 coaching over 12 weeks, including follow up support
  • Group Coaching
  • An online course, consisting worksheets, short videos, masterclasses
  • Workbooks & Worksheets designed to help you with self-reflection and learning

Each programme is designed with the client in mind, ensuring whatever your circumstances you can benefit from the life coaching experience.


This phase of life coaching will then look at different techniques focused on drawing out and challenging your limiting beliefs. This stage is very much about creating a mindset shift. This could involve NLP (Neuro-linguistic programming) and other trauma-based work, looking at how certain beliefs you hold about yourself in the present are informed by programming encountered in the past, enabling you to start thinking in an alternative way.

Finding and Changing Limiting Beliefs

The last phase is all about aligning your energy with this new mindset that has been created by working through the limiting beliefs identified in the previous phase. Our work will be all about aligning your mind and body with this new way of being, thereby enabling you to integrate the teachings learned during life coaching into your everyday life.


The first phase of the life coaching focuses on gaining clarity into your goals and your reasons for seeking to transform areas of your life, like relationships, career/business, finances, health, personal and spiritual growth and sense of self-worth. This is an important step into learning you WHY and motivation to make these changes. We will essentially gain an understanding of where you are now and the goals you want to set.


For those on the 1-1 life coaching programme: Once the initial programme is over, we can have a follow-up call every three months in the first year to check in and explore your progress and any challenges along your journey with maintaining your new mindset. This is a great opportunity to review any further work to make sure your specific needs are met and help you return to the right path.

Relationship Issues

I work with both individuals and couples, creating a safe space where you can understand how you communicate, what you bring to a relationship, and how to foster a healthier dynamic going forward. My work often involves looking at co-dependency and the quality of your communication.

Low Self-Esteem

Many people struggle with low self-esteem. You might base your worth on your achievements or what others think of you, which always leads to a low opinion of yourself. I am here to provide tools for self-empowerment that are designed to help you reconnect with your own innate potential and power.

Anxiety and Stress

We all hold stress in your bodies, and over time this can lead to anxiety – a sense of constant unease that prevents you from being yourself and getting the most out of life. Our goal will be to work closely with this anxiety, learning where it comes from and how it feels, ahead of developing techniques for managing it in the future.


I know that sometimes it can feel like life will never get better – that your situation is hopeless. Working through depression takes time, but it is possible to reach a more positive place. I will work alongside you every step of the way, making sure you are comfortable as we engage with these difficult thoughts and replace them a more compassionate, realistic perspective.

Lack of Direction

You might feel like you are rudderless in life. Perhaps you have no idea what you actually want to do with your career, or what kind of relationship you want, and this is perfectly normal. Together we can look at your current situation and, in a collaborative fashion, work to understand what you might want to aim for, ahead of developing a plan for how to get there.
